The testing of a student at the University of Camerino Salerno: for 6 months submit the Mediterranean diet, with the typical products of the province of Salerno, U.S. fencers to membership with the prestigious "New York Athletic Club"

The Memorandum of Understanding to fly the Mediterranean diet in the United States of America, the conquest of the samples of fencing under the stars and stripes at the New York Athletic Club will be signed Monday 18 July, at 11, the hall representative of the Chamber of Commerce of Salerno, Via Roma.

There are many institutions involved in the project: National Park of Cilento Vallo di Diano-Alburni, the University of Camerino, the  Campania Region, the Province of Salerno, the City of Pollica, the Provincial Tourism Authority of Salerno, Confesercenti Salerno and the Chamber of Commerce of Salerno.

The next great challenge of the Mediterranean Diet, that the 16 November has been recognized as "Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO",  obtained by the student and the project fencer Letizia Pepper, Salerno, graduate student in Pharmacy at the University of Camerino, that under the scientific guidance of Professor Pierluigi Pompei, Professor of the University of Marche and internationally recognized expert in the field of sports nutrition, will experience the effect that the power of our products based on samples of the province will participate in the American Fencing  World Championships in the sport of "high art" scheduled for October 2011 Catania.

The twinning axis Salerno – New York, which will last six months (from September to February 2012), arose from the great spirit of collaboration immediately established between the various realities that contribute to the realization of an initiative that does not know the background and instead aspires to have a great future. The challenge of the President of the Park Amilcare Troiano is "beat Mc Donald's 'Away'!”.

For this Monday morning, at the Chamber of Commerce, to put their signature on the memorandum of understanding that will start the project launched by us will be graduating Letizia Pepper Professor Pierluigi Pompei University of Camerino; Regional Councillor Vito Amendolara agriculture; Councillors provincial sport and agriculture, Antonio Iannone and Mario Miano; President of the National Park of Cilento-Vallo di Diano-Alburni, Hamilcar Troiano; Mayor Pollica, Stephen Pisani; Special Commissioner of the EPT Salerno, Ilva Pizzorno; President of Confesercenti Salerno Bottiglieri with director Henry White Cecaro; and the President of the Chamber Guido Arzano. Missed appointment, no coincidence, representation of the New York Athletic Club made by President Michael Aufrichtig and two fencers of the U.S. National, Daria Schneider s Adam Watson. They will land in a big way in the Cilento 28 July and, After a tour aimed at product knowledge and wonderful places in the Park, acceding to the Protocol at the "Centro Studi Mediterranean Diet", Pollica, in what has been recognized by many as the ideal "world capital" of the Mediterranean diet and nutrition where studies, fencing and development of the area will merge into a weekend that promises to give great surprises.
